the war for your soul…

Destruction…
Tearing apart… Ripping apart… Tearing down… Total defeat… These ideas
are not what we think of when we think about the actions of a loving God.
However, God and Satan are at war and have been from the beginning. The power of
God is a power of destruction, tearing apart, ripping apart, tearing down, and
total defeat when directed at the power of Satan. God and Satan are at war over
your soul. You choose sides in this war for your life. You choose which side
will win your soul. Every second of your life you are choosing sides in this
conflict. In this war for your soul, Satan does not play fair. Satan violates
every rule we would call fair. Satan is random, violent, murderous, and takes
every life on earth. Satan loves to inflict pain and suffering. No one escapes
Satan’s terrible grip. However, you can win out over Satan and his death
machine. You can win out by being fair and even handed in all matters. You can
win out by being tough-minded and totally unrelenting in doing God’s will
rather than your own will. You can win out by being forgiving and kind when you
are attacked by the darkness. You can win out by giving love in the face of
hate, by giving rather than taking, and by accepting Christ as your savior.
