About when God says ""No"" in His understanding Job 36:26 How great is God--beyond our understanding! (NIV) God understands us more than we can understand ourselves. God's understanding of us passes over into the future so He can see what will happen to us in all our tomorrows. God sometimes tells us "No" because God understands where we need to be in the future. We cannot see what will happen to us tomorrow. We cannot even see what will happen to us in the next hour. Since we are blind to these future events and God is not blind, God sometime tells us "No" to help us be in the right place at the right time, all for His glory. Receiving God's "No" answer or His will in humility does not mean we will never taste the bitter fruit of pain, suffering, and death. God sometimes tells us "No" because God understands how we can glorify His name in every circumstance, even when we have no understanding. God understands us and He needs us to understand that even when we are in the stinking mess of life, and in all the darkness life brings, we are to always be God's purveyor of love in the darkness. If you will open your heart to God when God says you cannot have what you want, He will bless you, keep you, and share His wisdom with you. In your heart, in your most inner place of living in your soul, when God says "No", you will come to understand He tells you "No" because He loves you. As you come to accept God's "No" answer in humility, you will come to understand His love surpasses all human understanding. |
