Previous Daily Devotional About when plans crumble 1 Chronicles 28:9 "And you, my son Solomon, acknowledge the God of your father, and serve him with wholehearted devotion and with a willing mind, for the Lord searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thoughts. If you seek him, he will be found by you; but if you forsake him, he will reject you forever. 10 Consider now, for the Lord has chosen you to build a temple as a sanctuary. Be strong and do the work." (NIV) The best laid earthly plans of mice and men come apart. No matter how much planning we do, earthly plans can crumble. Many times when the plans we make come apart, so do we. When our eyes are focused on the physical and tangible world and we see our physical and tangible plans crumble, we fail to realize there is a spiritual or supernatural world. In God's spiritual world, there are plans made that include you. When we experience crumbling plans in our worldly existence, we must remember to look to Christ. In Christ, we can find that what comes apart on earth is not always that important in Heaven. When we make plans on earth our plans should always be centered on the will, desires, and wants of God. When we take our plans and put them into the hand of God, there can never be a failure in God's eyes. |
