When you can't get to church Psalms 96:9 Worship the LORD in the splendor of his holiness; tremble before him, all the earth (NIV) Many of us have physical, emotional, mental, and psychological limitations that might keep us from joining or participating in a faith community. No matter how much we might want to be a part of a church, sometimes there are limitations to where we can go and how we get there. In these times of limitations, remember to pray, for God hears you not only in the sanctuary, but also in the confines of your present circumstance. When you are limited in your mobility or in your choices, remember to trust Him. For when you trust God, He will be with you forever and ever. When you cannot be a part of a church for any reason, remember to keep believing, for your belief stirs the heart of God and brings blessings uncountable to those who need Him the most. Remember in every circumstance to keep hope. In hope, in the wellspring of your soul, keep alive the hope and dream of His welcoming arms in Heaven. Remember to cherish Him and adore Him, for Christ is not the destroyer of our life. Christ is the redeemer and restorer. When you face limitations, reach out to others. For in you, in your life, and even in your difficult circumstances, you can show others the splendor of His love. Even if you cannot come and go as your heart desires, remember to encourage others. For no matter what obstacles you face, Christ will always be with you, so you, in turn, can give to others and encourage others on their faith journey. |
