When you have no ideas Hebrews 11:3 By faith we understand that the universe was formed at God's command, so that what is seen was not made out of what was visible. (NIV) Sometimes we are stumped. Sometimes we run out of ideas as to what to do or we run out of ideas about how to fix or solve a problem. One of the most lovely of ideas about the Creation event was that God thought all that exists into existence. We call God the creator because that is what He did and still does. We have incredible numbers of choices in life. We can choose to solve a problem the way God would want us to solve it or we can choose to solve a problem the way Satan wants us to solve it. Thomas Edison said ideas were in the air. Likewise, so is the Holy Spirit in the air. Most of the time, we already know what we need to know to fix a problem. Most of the time, our problem is admitting to ourselves we know the answer to a problem. Once we admit we have an answer to a problem we must then be willing to come to grips with implementing the solution. God has given us an incredible imagination that can supply us with ideas to invent, adjust, and adapt. When we have ideas that glorify Satan, darkness, and evil, those ideas lead to our destruction, we are torn down, and problems are piled on top of problems. When we have ideas that glorify God, we experience the touch of His creative force, we are built up, and problems get solved. |
