(NIV) Our God, the father of our Lord Jesus, the being who is the Holy Spirit…it is He who is the creator of all human life. On every continent, in every region where He has placed human beings, He wants you and the rest of us in the human race to bring upon this world His goodness and love. God's will is that in every nation on earth a new day full of hope should dawn. God wants the heart of every leader in the world to be unselfish. God wants every person to desire only the good of God to come into being. It is God's will for humanity that we all bring peace to the earth. God wants us to bring an end to war if it is possible. God wants us to turn away from ego and selfishness. God wants us to be holy and devout and to pray daily for repentance so there will be an end to famine, pestilence, drought, and natural disasters. God wants all of us to place all evil into His mighty hand. When we place evil into God's hand He will dash that evil down into the underworld and keep all darkness in the outer darkness where evil belongs. God wants your heart and the heart of the simple people of the earth to cry out to Him for He hears our cry. God wants the hearts of the simple and humble folk of the world to receive His grace. God wants the hearts of the world to open up to the needs of the weak, lame, and infirm. God wants your heart and mind to hold a knowledge of His saving power and hold a vision of His being. For those who have turned away from Him, He wants them to return to Him. Although we have erred and gone our own way as a race of beings, God wants all of us to know that He loves us and cares for us. God wants to renew in all human beings in all the earth a sense of His presence. God wants to give every soul that lives upon this orb the vision of His Son hanging upon the Cross, where Christ died for each of us. |
