God is not remote and far off for He is within our hearts as well as in His heavenly realms. Since He is within us, we can know a little bit about Him. In God’s own way, He has permitted us to see glimpses of heaven. Yet, what we see is too big to be seen. What we see cannot be expressed in words. God has given us visual glimpses of heaven. Yet, what we see is beyond our mind’s ability to grasp. What we hear in these glimpses no one has ever heard. Although we cannot grasp the bigness, the beauty, and the wonder of what is ahead of us, God has still given us glimpses and hints of what is ahead if we truly love Him.
