Previous Daily Devotional About God's written laws and lack of mystery Exodus 15:25 Then Moses cried out to the LORD, and the LORD showed him a piece of wood. He threw it into the water, and the water became sweet. There the LORD made a decree and a law for them, and there he tested them. 26 He said, "If you listen carefully to the voice of the LORD your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the LORD, who heals you." (NIV) Many aspects of God are mysterious. We cannot see Him with our eyes. We cannot touch Him with our hands. Because God is supernatural and physically intangible, we consider His ways as mysterious. However, God is not as mysterious as we might think or even wish. God's laws are known by human beings. God's laws always work. God's laws are everlasting. God's laws apply to every part of our lives. It is no real mystery that with every one of God's laws, there is always a condition. If we follow the laws of God with all our heart, all our soul, and all our might under His conditions, the outcome of our life is assured. |
