About wrong ideas…

Human beings have always had the capacity to do wrong things and walk the wrong path. You would think over the course of our history on earth that we would have the common sense to learn from our elders. However, we are so often engaged in selfishly living our own life we don't spend much time learning from those who preceded us. All of us can be deceived. All of us can be misled. If we ever think we cannot be misled or we cannot be deceived, we are already misled and deceived. Perhaps what is most goofy of all is that we can and do mislead and deceive ourselves. We not only tell ourselves little white lies we tell ourselves big whoppers and sometimes believe both. What we must be aware of each minute is that ideas float around in our minds and that some of these ideas are wrong. We would not want to admit we hold wrong ideas because of our ego. However, we live in a world of deceiving spirits. Some spirits do not even try to be deceiving as we can see from the filth and garbage spewed by much of the media. To be holy and devout, we must continually look at what we think, at what we value, and we must pray constantly about the thoughts we think. Most importantly, when we continually think about the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit, our thoughts are a blessing to God and to the world.
