SILENT WARS
Ezekiel 12:1 The word of the LORD came to me: 2 "Son of man, you
are living among a rebellious people. They have eyes to see but do not
see and ears to hear but do not hear, for they are a rebellious people.
Matthew 22:8 "Then he said to his servants, `The wedding banquet
is ready, but those I invited did not deserve to come. 9 Go to the
street corners and invite to the banquet anyone you find.' 10 So the
servants went out into the streets and gathered all the people they
could find, both good and bad, and the wedding hall was filled with
guests. 11 "But when the king came in to see the guests, he noticed
a man there who was not wearing wedding clothes. 12 `Friend,' he asked,
`how did you get in here without wedding clothes?' The man was
speechless. 13 "Then the king told the attendants, `Tie him hand
and foot, and throw him outside, into the darkness, where there will be
weeping and gnashing of teeth.' 14 "For many are invited, but few
are chosen."
What is going on?
What is going on in people? Does anyone care? What do people care
about? Is there a God in the picture of what people care about? Are we
tired and burned out with life? As things move faster and faster, will
we be increasingly tired of things moving faster? Will we burn out
faster? If you saw the police come and take a family away from your
neighborhood and were then told they were in trouble and were being
relocated, would you care enough to ask questions? Would you get
involved in finding out where they were going? Would you do anything at
all or are you too tired and burned out?
John S. had rummaged through his closet for almost an hour trying to
find an old picture taken in his grade school days. John’s wife said
she was positive the picture was in the closet somewhere. Finally, John
found the picture in the bottom of a shoebox. He did not know why he was
looking for the picture. He did not know many things these days. John
was 47, employed in a medium sized company with job security, and should
be happy beyond belief. John had his family in church every Sunday and
at other times when they could make it. John thought his relationship
with Christ was healthy and vibrant. However, John was burned out. He
was burned out with his job. He was burned out with his church. He was
burned out with God. He was burned out with life. Although he was
physically healthy, John’s spiritual and emotional life had pretty
much become vacant. John longed to go back to a time when he and others
were more alive. John wanted a life that had life instead of just an
endless routine of doing the same thing repeatedly. In an age of
continual change, when changes and advances occur so rapidly that
keeping up is nearly impossible, and routine matters are hardly ever
routine...what could be going on?
What John does not realize is that there is a war going on for his
life. The war has manifestations in every aspect of his life and yours.
There are forces at work in all parts of the world to bring about the
destruction of life and civilization, as we know it. For the sake of
explanation we will call one of these forces the D force. The D force is
the force of destruction. The other force is the G force. The G force is
the force of God. John’s thoughts are a symptom of the times. John’s
thoughts are the results of the D force acting in the government in all
levels, in business in all levels, in the school and educational system,
in every part of every society on earth, and most of all in the church.
The D force is active in every corner of the globe. The D force will
bring about the destruction of individual lives, the destruction of our
planet, the destruction of world institutions, wealth, and the threads
that tie every civilization together. What looks and feels normal on the
outside is not what it seems. What looks good and wholesome is, at the
core, rotten and corrupt.
In the future, the invisible D force will slowly erode institutions,
foment wars and political revolutions as a tool to promote the D force
agenda. The D force will cause global destruction on a scale no one has
seen before. The D force wants the total destruction of any upward
development of any civilization in any area. The fast changes found in
all areas of knowledge are working against the D force. To counter this
positive influence, the D force is more active in societies to undermine
the social structure of those societies. The D force is currently
undermining social structures by destroying the moral fabric of those
structures. The way the D force is working to unravel this fabric is to
promote outright immorality and apathy towards the immorality. This
apathy permits and does not inhibit the immoral destruction of the
fabric.
To get a better sense of where we are, just look at the amount of
corruption in all levels of government. The amount of corruption is not
the real problem. The real problem is the apathy, the unconcern, and the
lack of caring on the part of the general populace worldwide. This
apathy, that prevails worldwide, is a major victory for the D force. As
long as the general population of the world could care less then the D
force can do anything the D force wants. No one will care much. No one
will ask questions. Everyone will just shrug their shoulders and look
the other way.
Luke 18: 1 Then Jesus told his disciples a parable to show them that
they should always pray and not give up. 2 He said: "In a certain
town there was a judge who neither feared God nor cared about men. 3 And
there was a widow in that town who kept coming to him with the plea,
`Grant me justice against my adversary.' 4 "For some time he
refused. But finally he said to himself, `Even though I don't fear God
or care about men, 5 yet because this widow keeps bothering me, I will
see that she gets justice, so that she won't eventually wear me out with
her coming!' " 6 And the Lord said, "Listen to what the unjust
judge says. 7 And will not God bring about justice for his chosen ones,
who cry out to him day and night? Will he keep putting them off? 8 I
tell you, he will see that they get justice, and quickly. However, when
the Son of Man comes, will he find faith on the earth?"
A Spiritual Collapse
The main thoughts and observations in this account by and about a
Christian minister are given anonymously. In your heart, you will judge
their truth. Names have been changed.
A few years ago Rev. Compton was at a gathering where he knew some of
the people were gay. Others in the group he suspected of being child
molesters. I choose not to name the organization with which these people
were affiliated but you would recognize the name. Since Rev. Compton,
and a few others, was straight, Christian, and decidedly morally
upright, those persons who were gay and the potential molesters could
not reveal any of their preferences or leanings. Rev. Compton states,
"I have never seen such dead people. As God as my witness, I would
swear these gay people and potential molesters were soulless."
Rev. Compton was called to the ministry in mid-life. Before his call,
he had expectations about members of the clergy. One of his expectations
was that the men and women who stand before a flock, regardless of their
denomination, affiliation, or faith, were devout and always worked hard
to be holy before their God. He states, "I have consistently been
disappointed. I have, at every turn, encountered not holy men and women
in the clergy, but dead men and women. I am not referring to a
particular denominational meaning of deadness. What I have seen at every
turn are clergy who are vacant of soul. Clergy who are resisting
temptation. Clergy who are more consumed with self and self-interest
than the interests of God. Clergy who are more interested in getting
paid than making a sacrifice. Clergy who are more concerned with making
financial progress than making progress for the Creator. I am angry
about this state of affairs in the ministry. With few exceptions, the
clergy in all denominations and faiths are just as soulless as the
people I saw at the gathering referenced above. I know these are strong
words. I am not saying men and women of the clergy are doing despicable
things like the group I was with and cited above. However, I could fill
page after page with names, addresses, and circumstances of men and
women in the clergy with whom I am personally familiar who consistently
sell out, compromise, put their own interest first, as well as cave in
to the worst and most vile temptations."
Rev. Compton goes on to state, "Something is about to happen. I
do not know what. I have an inkling that there is going to be some kind
of worldwide revealing event so that the truly Godly will be separated.
I suspect that the small and frail people who pray earnest and devout
prayers will stand out, stand apart, and if the earthly powers prevail
in the earthly kingdom of God, then the truly devout will be
exterminated like the Jews during the Holocaust. In this forthcoming,
revealing event, I suspect those who are now the high and mighty in the
earthly kingdom of God, will be shown to be the dead persons they are.
If those persons who are truly devout children of God are to be
exterminated, it will be the dead persons, the high and mighty of the
earthly kingdom of God, who point the finger. There has been an internal
collapse in the Christian churches among all denominations, movements,
and affiliations. Puzzling to some, this collapse has started in the
hearts of the clergy who are supposed to lead the way into the battle.
The evidence of this collapse is that the clergy are more concerned with
their retirement plan than the plan of God."
There is a silent and insidious war going on for your soul. The first
victims in this silent war have been the clergy. You are next. When you
are too tired and burned out to care, the powers of darkness are ready
to devour your spiritual carcass. Who will win this war for your soul?
You decide.
If you are a pastor and you are burned out, pray and reach out for
help within your faith community. If you are a lay person and you are
burned out, reach out for help within your church or faith community,
pray and meditate unceasingly.
No matter who you are, pray for pastors and their families. Support
pastors and their families in every way possible. Together we stand,
divided we fall. |
