Christmas…
You
can choose…to see Christ alive in your heart rather than just as a
figure in a manger scene.
You
can choose…to live in reverence and awe at the great gift God gave to
you in the form of His infant Son rather living in irreverence by taking
Christmas for granted.
You
can choose…to accept Christ was born to a virgin as a miracle only God
can perform rather than considering the virgin birth to be a myth or a
legend.
You
can choose…to find joy in the smallest of things at Christmas time
because we celebrate His birth rather than letting the Christmas season
get out of hand with our thoughts of material things and earthly
celebrations.
You
can choose…to seek ways to show the love God gave to us by giving
rather than seeking to continually satisfy our sinful selfishness.
You
can choose…to express God’s love when we are attacked by the
materialism and hatred of the world.
You
can choose…to visit His manger scene within your heart, to kneel down
next to Him resting in the hay, and then to walk to His cross and kneel
before Him dying to save your life for all eternity.
