Giving Help
Many of us fail to realize
how much others need us and how much we need others. Because of our
pride and ego, we do not easily admit we need help. The fact is that
none of us can go through modern life without others helping us and
supporting us. We seldom grow our own food, weave our own cloth, and
make our own furniture and appliances. In addition, you are surrounded
by people who need your help. It is important to remember when you give
help to others you must try to do so anonymously. If at all possible,
try to help others so they do not know who you are. It is in the giving
of help without your receiving any ego rewards that God's true love and
compassion are poured out upon others. It is when you help others
anonymously that others may come to believe it was not a human being who
helped, but God or one of His angels. It is when you help others in
anonymous ways that you can come to understand more about God and may
even learn to do the work of His invisible angelic agents, His invisible
angelic agents who surround all of us all the time.
