Topic: Our Purpose At Christmas
Although
Christmas is to be our time of joy and celebration, we must also
consider Christmas to be a time of purpose. Our purpose at Christmas
should always be to be like Christ. If we celebrate Christmas or any
other day of the year by doing sinful things we have not really
celebrated Christ. If we let our sinfulness corrupt us and darken our
heart then we have not truly celebrated His birth. Our purpose at
Christmas is not to just give gifts making others happy. Our purpose at
Christmas and every other day of the year must also be to show love, to
show forgiveness, to show mercy, and to show grace. Our purpose at
Christmas should always be to continue the joy and love of Christmas
into every day of the year. Our purpose at Christmas is to be a living
sacrifice by making our life a sacrifice to be all we can be for our
Lord.
