Faith And Sin
Having faith in God can be easier when we don't have any choice in a
matter. Sickness, death, and disease, are examples where we may have
limited choices. When we have limited control or choice, we may feel
like we have to trust God. However, to go to God when there IS a choice
is often difficult because sin comes in and tries to take us away from
God's caring love. When sin comes in, our faith is lessened because of
the doubt placed into our mind and heart by the sin. We increase our
faith as we decrease our sin. We increase our faith when we affirm God's
place in our heart and life. We increase our faith when we refuse to let
sin take a foothold in our thinking or in our life.
