Topic: Goofiness

In life, there needs to be the joy of goofiness. There needs to be a place in us that does the radically different and radically joyful thing no matter what our circumstances. As we get older and have more dark times, we lose the goofiness that is a part of childhood. For some of us, childhood did not have much joy in it. For us, we need to establish our own space where we can experience joy without the guilt put on us by Satan. For Satan desires to kill all joy in the world. We need to establish a space in our lives for the total purpose of letting the joy come forth. We need to let the truly real person who is not guilt-ridden express goofiness and fly free of this world of care and woe. God does not want us to be burdened down by our life and the lives around us. If we are burdened down by the lives around us then we cannot effectively serve Him or serve them. The first lesson a paramedic learns about a life-threatening situation is to save his or her own life. For if the paramedic dies, the person who needs saving may die too.
