We reach people first by being where they are, rather than telling them they have to be conformed to where we are. We reach people by walking with them on their path rather than stopping them and trying to get them to turn around and walk another direction on our path. We reach people by listening to them rather than lecturing them. We reach people by guiding them rather than forcing them. We reach people by loving them first before we expect them to love us. We reach people by forgiving them rather than holding grudges against them.
