What Believers Have, What Unbelievers Fear
The skeptic believes God isn’t really going to
do anything as a result of our sin and rebellion in our present age. The
skeptic sees all the people who get by with all the drug dealing,
stealing, lying, murder, rape, and robbery. The skeptic sees all the
people who never get caught and who live off the corruption of the
world. We even elect people into public office and we know they lie and
we elect them anyway. The skeptic, the agnostic, the non-believer, and
even many believers want to know what good is believing in God going to
do for anyone? What good is God? Too many people believe that God is
good to go to when we are in a pinch and we don’t know where else to
turn. What so many of these skeptics, agnostics, non-believers, and
believers miss is His grace, love, care, and compassion. What these
people miss is the overwhelming presence of Christ in the human heart.
What these people miss and what they fear most is the total
transformation of their lives from a state of fallen to a glorious state
of redeemed.
